The teams that keep the city running

Police, medical and the community side of the city are whitelisted jobs and teams — places you apply for once you are whitelisted as a player, not ranks you buy. Each has its own standards, and each one changes how the city plays for everybody else.

Where you can serve

Law enforcement

Police Department

Patrols, traffic stops, investigations and pursuits. You are held to the chase rules on purpose: no water driving, and you surrender when you are approached and outmatched. A police force that ignores its own policy is how a city turns into a deathmatch.

  • No PD while in a gang — you pick a side.
  • Do not steal police or DHS vehicles and equipment.
  • No cop baiting, and no forcing police interaction.
Medical

EHS

The medical service: treating injuries at scenes and around the city, and reporting what they find. Injuries are played realistically here, which is what makes shooting somebody a decision rather than a reflex.

  • EHS workers are not valid hostages — and no fake hostages.
  • Roleplay injuries realistically and engage with EHS.
  • EHS and PD areas are greenzones: no violence in them.

Community teams

Beyond the badge and the ambulance

Not everything worth doing in the city is a uniform. These are the teams for the people who make things happen rather than respond to them.

Community

Events Team

Plans and runs events for the whole city — races, meets, competitions and one-off nights. If you have ever thought the server needed something to do beyond the ordinary, this is the team that gets to build it.

Bring ideas with you. Suggestions are welcome from everyone, but the events team is who turns one into an actual night in the city.

Content

Content Creators

Streamers and video makers are part of the city rather than outside it — their work is what brings new players in, and they get a space in the Discord to organise it and to post when they are live.

Metagaming from a stream is a rule break, so streaming is welcome here as long as what is on screen is not being used for an advantage.

Applying

How to join a team

  1. Be whitelisted first

    Every team here is for players who already passed the whitelist and have spent some time in the city. Departments are not the entry point.

  2. Open a ticket in Discord

    Say which department or team you are applying for and why. Applications run through tickets so nothing gets lost in chat.

  3. Meet the standard

    Each department sets its own expectations for activity and conduct. If you are accepted, those are what you are held to — the same rules apply to everyone.

  4. Leaving has a cooldown

    Leaving a whitelisted job comes with a one-week cooldown before you can take another, so a rank is not something to shop around for.
