Rules
What we expect, in full
Three sets of rules: how the Discord is run, how the city is run, and how roleplay itself is judged. They are short on purpose — every one of them exists because something went wrong without it.
The Discord rules post is the authoritative version. If a rule here and a
rule there disagree, the Discord post wins, and we will update this page.
Discord rules
- Use the correct channel for your discussion.
- To create a report or get support, use a ticket in the Discord — not a DM.
- Respect all staff and their decisions.
- No racism, homophobia, hate speech or excessive toxicity.
- No public accusations. Bring it to a ticket.
- Do not spam or ping staff members.
- No politics or religious talk.
- Please read and follow the Discord Terms of Service.
- No advertising other servers — instant ban.
- Follow Twitch Terms of Service.
- Leaving the server removes your whitelist; you would need to reapply.
Eclipse RP city rules
- Recording software ready at all times — no clip, no sit.
- Working microphone required.
- No asking staff for items or cars.
- No begging.
- No support given in any channel or DMs — only in a ticket.
- No cheating, exploiting, or toxicity in game.
- No malicious activity against the server or any of its members.
- No racism, sexism, homophobia, discrimination or sexual harassment — instant ban.
- Report only with valid clips; no reports out of personal dislike.
- Use realistic character names that follow the Terms of Service.
- Finish roleplay scenes before reporting.
- Do not leave the server or voice calls during staff situations.
- Erotic roleplay is forbidden — ban.
- No PD while in a gang.
Staff & roleplay rules
- Do not backseat staff.
- No metagaming — no using Discord or streams for a roleplay advantage.
- No Terms-of-Service-violating roleplay (terrorism, suicide, erotic).
- RDM only with a valid reason; killing is a last resort.
- No vehicle deathmatch (VDM).
- No powergaming or abusing GTA mechanics.
- Always stay in character — no OOC.
- No voice ID targeting.
- No combat logging — wait 10 minutes after crimes before leaving.
- No GTA-style driving; warnings and bans apply.
- Fear for your life and freedom in roleplay.
- New life rule: forget the roleplay events leading to a coma or respawn.
- Roleplay injuries realistically and engage with EHS.
- No fake hostages, and do not kidnap EHS workers.
- Non-whitelisted gangs are capped at 5 members; gang fights last a maximum of 2 days.
- No fail RP; proper escorting and cuffing required.
- A valid reason is needed to rob or kill.
- No cop baiting or forcing police interaction.
- No stealing police or DHS vehicles and equipment.
- Police chases: no water driving, surrender when approached.
- One-week cooldown when leaving a whitelisted job.
- Continue the roleplay over minor rulebreaks; staff handle serious cases.
- No violence in greenzones (EDHS/PD and businesses).
- No growing weed inside locked MLOs.
Reports, tickets & decisions
- Reports are evidence-led. Report only with a valid clip, and include the time it happened and who was involved. No clip, no sit — in either direction, including reports against staff.
- Finish the scene first. Continue the roleplay over minor rulebreaks; staff handle serious cases rather than interrupting a scene to settle one.
- No personal-dislike reports. A report is about what broke a rule, not about who you do not get along with.
- No public accusations. Anything for staff goes in a ticket — never in chat, and never in DMs.
- Respect staff decisions and do not backseat staff. If you think a decision was wrong, take it to a ticket rather than arguing it in character or in chat.
- Do not leave during a staff situation. Do not leave the server or drop out of voice while staff are dealing with something you are part of.
Failure to follow the rules results in a ban or staff
intervention. Some rules carry an immediate ban — advertising other
servers, and racism, sexism, homophobia, discrimination or sexual
harassment.
Support is given only in a ticket, never in a channel or a DM: open a ticket in the Discord.
