A hobby project, run by volunteers

Eclipse RP is a community roleplay server, not a company and not a product. Nobody is paying for access, and nothing here is a contract with a business — so these terms are deliberately short, in plain language, and say what we actually mean.

What you agree to

  • Follow the rules. They are the terms of playing here, and the Discord post is the authoritative version.
  • Follow Discord's Terms of Service and the age requirement that comes with them, and the age rating for GTA V where you live.
  • Have recording software ready at all times, and accept that a report without a clip cannot be actioned.
  • Accept staff decisions as final for that round of the incident, with a ticket as the way to have one reviewed.

What we promise — and do not

  • The server is run as a hobby. It can go offline, restart, change or stop entirely, and there is no uptime guarantee.
  • Your character, items and progress are not property, and a wipe, bug or outage is not something we can compensate you for.
  • What you do get: rules applied to everyone, support in tickets, and staff held to the same standard as players.
  • Whitelist access is a privilege rather than a right, and it can be removed by a staff decision.

Small print, kept small

Is any of this a paid service?
No. Playing on Eclipse RP is free, and nobody is buying access. You must own GTA V to play, but that is bought from Steam, Epic or Rockstar — never from us. We do not sell anything on this site.
Who owns what?
Clips and screenshots you make are yours. Clips you post in a ticket are used to review that report, and screenshots of the city may be used to show the server — if you would rather a particular clip not be used, say so in the ticket and it will not be.
This site and the trademarks
Eclipse RP is a community-run roleplay server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. FiveM is a modification for Grand Theft Auto V made by Cfx.re. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Can these terms change?
Yes, and this page is the current version. Substantial changes are announced in the Discord rather than quietly edited in — that is the same standard the rules are held to.
How do I raise a problem with any of this?
A ticket, as with everything else. If it is about the rules themselves, the suggestion channels exist for exactly that.
